The Belmont Way The teaching system we employ at The Belmont Centre is not a correspondence course. It consists of tutorials and practicals held over full weekends at monthly intervals in the Centre, with an essay to be written each month and returned on the next weekend session. These seminars and workshops enable students to study at home at their own convenience and yet benefit from regular tutorials and practise sessions. Whenever possible The Belmont Centre will arrange for volunteers with genuine Psychosomatic problems to be available during the workshop sessions in order to give students experience in working with clients. Special facilities are available for students to stay in local hotels at reduced rates when attending the weekend tutorials. The Belmont Centre was founded in 1981 by Jean Murton and Morton Healey. Both partners are highly qualified and since that time have operated a very successful practice in Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and neuro-Linguistics.
