The Belmont Centre course in Hypnotherapy is an eleven month course, divided into three modules each module has four parts. At the end of each session and before the next you will be expected to submit an essay of no less than 500 words summarising the session just taken, from each lesson you will discover more about yourself and more importantly how to help others.

 

You will learn how to 'coach' a client into discovering their own inner resources.

You will feel confident in dealing with all Psychosomatic problems.

You will learn and understand the power of healing the mind.

You will discover the power is in the word.

You will understand and feel complete within yourself, able to deal with any situation with great confidence.

Part One

 

Historical background :- Ancient times, Mesmer, Coue', Braid

Power Of Suggestion :- Uncritical acceptance (the way we listen)

Mind & Brain :- Anatomy and physiology, Explanations & understandings

Induction of Trance States :- Are you already in a trance state? how do you know?

 

Part Two

 

Introducing Deepening Techniques :- Ideomotor responses and dissociation techniques

Use of Language :- Reiteration different senses (NLP)

The voice as a tool :- How do you sound?

Environment :- Future pacing

 

Part Three

 

The use of suggestion

Specific therapies :- Smoking, stress release, phobias & anxiety states.

More therapies :- Pain free childbirth, weight loss, depression and bereavment.

Special conditions :- Fear of flying, nail biting, regression.

How to put it all together

 

On successful completion of the course and the final examination students will receive a diploma from The Belmont Centre and The British Association of  Therapeutic Hypnosis and be entitled to use the letters of  B.A.Th.H

The course will be to the standards set by the governing body of the profession. these have been established by the United Kingdom Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations. (UKCHO)

The course is eligible for a government backed loan of up to 80% of the cost through a Career Development Loan. (Registration No. 8922).

Professional Indemnity Insurance Must be paid by students after passing exam. (New legal requirement.)
